We're seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our client's team. You'll be supporting a platinum client in the financial services sector. As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in managing and maintaining our client's infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional performance. The ideal person is driven and strives to continuously improve their technology footprint.
Location: 5 days onsite in NYC
Terms: fulltime role.
We need someone with good experience in Microsoft Entra and backup technologies.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain storage arrays and backup systems (Veeam) to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Design, implement, and support Microsoft Entra and VMware environments.
- Oversee LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance.
- Manage hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, building cloud solutions and integrating with existing systems.
- Automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency using PowerShell scripting (desirable).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in system administration, with expertise in core infrastructure systems.
Proficient in:
- Storage solutions (EMC, HPE)
- Microsoft Entra, VMware, and network management
- Microsoft Intune, Azure (desirable)
- SolarWinds for proactive issue identification and resolution
- Replication technologies and disaster recovery
- Cisco switch configuration, management, and troubleshooting
- VoIP systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security measures.
